The nanoparticle, with a uniform polymeric structure and geometry is constant across all applications.
Receptor specific small peptides, conjugated to the nanoparticle ensure delivery and accumulation of the nanoparticle at the cancer.
Using a proprietary Spin Echo Diffusion Weighted Imaging (SE DWI) protocol, MRI is used to directly image ONLY the nanoparticle protons – even in the presence of a vast excess of water.
Under these conditions only the nanoparticle in the targeted tissue is measured – Imaging only the cancer.
